Crafted for Beauty & Longevity

At Solspel, we create jewelry that is both timeless and enduring. Every piece is made with high-quality precious metals, chosen for their beauty, durability, and ability to be treasured for years to come.

925 Sterling Silver – Pure & Everlasting

Sterling silver is the heart of all Solspel jewelry, chosen for its timeless elegance and durability. Made from 92.5% pure silver, this precious metal is not only beautiful but also everlasting—unlike cheaper materials that degrade over time. While silver naturally develops a soft patina with wear, it can always be restored to its original brilliance with simple care.

Gold Vermeil – A Rich, Long-Lasting Glow

Our Gold Vermeil is a superior gold-plating technique, crafted for those who love the radiance of gold but want a more lasting alternative to traditional plating. Each piece is made from 925 sterling silver, dipped 10 times in 17-carat gold, forming a 5-micron thick layer—at least 5 times stronger than standard gold plating. This ensures a rich, golden glow that lasts longer and wears beautifully over time.

With proper care, both our Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil pieces will remain as stunning as the day they were made, carrying their beauty and meaning through every chapter of life.

Caring for Your Jewelry – A Ritual of Longevity

Your Solspel jewelry is crafted with intention, whether in Gold Vermeil (925 sterling silver coated in a rich layer of 17-carat gold) or pure Sterling Silver, both designed to carry beauty and meaning for years to come. With the right care, their radiance will remain as timeless as their design.

A Few Simple Rituals for Preservation
Gold Vermeil (925 Sterling Silver Base with 10x Gold Plating)
  • Avoid Contact with Water - To keep its glow, avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals.

  • Mindful Storage - Store in a dry place, away from humidity, preferably in a jewelry box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches and oxidation.

  • Gentle Cleansing – When needed, polish softly with a dry microfiber cloth to restore its natural shine. Avoid liquid cleaners, as they may strip the gold layer over time.

  • Aging with Grace – Like all things precious, Gold Vermeil evolves with time. If the plating naturally softens, Solspel offers a complimentary jewelry refreshment service every two years, keeping your piece as luminous as the day it was created.

Sterling Silver (925 Silver)
  • Everyday Durability – Unlike Gold Vermeil, sterling silver is more resistant to daily wear but naturally reacts with air, moisture, and skin oils over time.

  • Preventing Oxidation – Keep silver jewelry in a dry, airtight container when not worn. Storing it alongside silica gel packets or anti-tarnish strips can slow oxidation.

  • Bringing Back the Shine – If your silver darkens over time, gently polish it with a jewelry cloth or clean it with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush. For deeper tarnish, a simple baking soda and water paste can help restore its original glow.

Treat your jewelry as you would a treasured talisman—cared for with love, worn with intention, and kept in a place where it can rest in its golden or silver glow.

Ring Size Chart

Don’t know how to measure your ring?

There are different ways to easily and quickly determine the correct ring size. The first method is to measure your own ring, the second method is to measure your finger and the last most simplest method is to measure a ring size with a ring meter.

Measure your own ring to determine your ring size.

1. If you already have a ring at home, you can alternatively measure only its diameter and you will know the size. Take a ring that you like to wear (make sure it is for the same finger as the ring you are buying) and put it over a ruler, like presented on the photo on the right.

2. Measure the inside diameter (really make sure you are measuring the inside!)

3. After you got your diameter (1.7 cm for example), you can read your ring size from the table bellow.

Measure your own finger

Use a piece of string and wrap it around the base of the appropriate finger.

Use a pen to mark the point on the string where the end meets.

Use a ruler to measure the string.

Choose the closest measurement to the chart below to find your ring size.

Tips for best results

Consider that when fitting on a ring, you need to accommodate your knuckle.

Bear in mind, different fingers on the same and the opposite hand may have different sizes. Therefore, measure the specific finger on which you are planning to wear the ring.

Measure your finger at the end of the day when your finger is likely to be largest.

Ring finger measuring tips

If you are between sizes, order a larger size. Make sure your finger is at a normal body temperature as fingers can shrink or expand when cold or hot. If your knuckle is much larger than your finger’s base, take two separate measurements and choose a size in between. You want a ring to fit over your knuckle, but not be too loose or it will shift around. If you have special size requirements, you can always place a custom order.
